You Are Not Welcome Here
On Wednesday I was cutting a head of romaine lettuce from Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market and about halfway down the head I spotted this little dude. He (or she) was still alive. GROSS! I had to toss out the entire head of lettuce. If you shop at Wal-Mart please check your produce for these little creatures. I was so grateful that I didn't chop him (or her) in half and throw it in the bowl! The salad would have been extra crunchy then...but maybe these things are good sources of protein?

Nasty, I have heard that bugs get into lettuce, never seen it. I have the shivers now that is so gross. Glad you caught it. HA

I'm so glad you have such a good attitude about that! I would have freaked out. I guess in some places it would be a good source of protein, but I would have screamed if I saw that :)
