COPS

I got a ticket yesterday on my way to Houston. I tried to be very polite and sincere in hopes of getting out of the ticket. It didn't work. In all my life I have never been able to get out of a ticket but I know lots of other people that talk their way out of them. I have decided that I need to get some suggestions on the magical thing to say one pulled over to avoid getting that dreaded citation. Help.

I wish I could help you. I couldn't even talk my way out of a ticket when I was 8 months pregnant and pulled over on the last day of the month for some stupid turn that I didn't even know was illegal.

Sorry to hear about the ticket!

I always get out of a ticket... I'm kind of embarrassed to tell you how though... I think it's because I always cry if I get pulled over and I don't do it on purpose- I'm just really weird that way. (I cry really easily - it's very annoying but in that case helpful)

Yeah, I usually just point to Collin's wheel chair and say he's sick!wink! just kidding.... I have NEVER gotten a ticket in my life. I was pulled over twice a LONG time ago. Back in Texas... those darn Texan cops! I was young hot and just batted my eyes... I don't think I could pull it off now.
BIG HUGS!

I caught up on your posts and it sounds like you have been busy miss! I especially love all of the pictures you posted and the updates. Sorry about the ticket. Yeah for the Mavs and for princesses turning 4 :)

I have only gotten out of one ticket (and only gotten pulled over twice). I had just barely turned 16 and I cried. I was so scared and shaky that I think he just felt bad...

The other time I was just very polite and said thank you even! A lot of good that did me. I still got a ticket :(

This is the longest comment ever, but I have to tell you how my husby got out of one. He just told the cop he was going golfing and he was trying to be there for his tee time (which was true)... and that worked!
