Houston Trip

My bff Serena's little girl Maggie turned 1 so last Sunday we drove down to Houston for her birthday party! I went by myself with all the kids and that was more difficult than I'd expected. Next time Nathan will definitely accompany me on any long-distance road trip! But we had so much fun, I love Serena and her husband Dave, he is the funniest guy I've ever known. He keeps everyone laughing all the time. Maggie's birthday party was a hit, and she got tons of fun presents! We stayed the night Sunday night and then hung out on Monday too before we headed back Monday afternoon. Kennedy fell in love with Maggie and did not want to leave. She was having too much fun. She talked about Maggie and how cute she is all the way home. It was a fun little quick trip; it's always great to see Serena and Dave and little Maggie, I wish we could see them more often. Thank you Serena and Dave for letting us invade your home, I bet you had no idea what kind of chaos accompanies 4 extra people! Happy Birthday Maggie!
