Blog Slacker

I have been so behind in blog posting, I have so many things I want to blog about and not enough time!! Just a quick update on everyone in the family:

Will-This little dude keeps me on my toes. He crawls so fast and I have to either hold him or be watching him constantly to make sure he is staying out of mishief! Some days are really rough because I can't get a thing done. Another tooth broke through a week or so ago, it's one of his top eye teeth. It's funny because there isn't one on the other side to match. He's just a cutie-pa-tootie!

Kennedy-Is still enjoying pre-school and ballet. She is going to be Snow White for Halloween and she has decided that she loves boots and wants to wear them with everything! She really loves headbands these days too and refuses to let me fix her hair in a ponytail. I choose my battles...

Chandler-Chan just played his last soccer game today. He scored like 4 or 5 goals or something. We are signing him up for basketball for the winter but he can't wait to play soccer again in the spring. This morning while I was tying his cleats I told him that he'd be retiring his cleats for a while after today. After I explained what 'retire' meant, he was really sad. He is doing well in school and told me the other day that school and soccer are his favorite things in the whole world.

Nathan-the cold has settled in our part of Texas and so everyone's heaters are breaking. This is good for Nathan because it keeps his crew busy. He still needs a buyer for the house that he and his dad fixed up, they're hoping to find one soon, but who knows these days. He is just busy busy as always.

Me-Last week I was called as the Laurels Advisor in YW and I'm super excited! Ever since I was 18 I have wanted to serve in YW so now I get my chance. My first lesson is tomorrow and I've been trying to find bits and pieces of time all week to prepare it and today is the day that I have the most time. I'll be back later with posts and pics from the last couple of weeks, but for now I must say Adios...

You'll be a great Laurels advisor! Good luck with your lesson tomorrow! I am sure it will go well.
