Rollin' With His Homies

Today Chandler got to ride in one of these to go eat lunch at this place.


For his very first school fund raiser, they sold cookie dough. If you earned $200 you got to go to "lunch in a limo"!! He wanted to earn that prize soooo badly, so he sold that dough. I helped him too and with the generosity of our wonderful friends and family (BIG THANKS!) he was able to earn $300 and secure his spot on the Hummer limo! Earlier this week I told him that not all of his classmates would be going with him in the limo so he was nervous and told me he didn't want to go. Yesterday when he came home he said that Ms. Kennedy announced who in the class was going and since 4 other kids from his class earned the trip too, Chandler decided he would go. He told me it was so awesome, that the inside was all decorated and that he rode in the first limo (there were 2 limos to take everyone) with a 6th grade buddy. He ate pizza and drank so much Sprite he said he thought he was about to throw up. Nice. Ummm, adult supervision??? Back at school he got to attend Thunder Bash where there was a huge blow up slide in the gym. I honestly don't know what Thunder Bash was about or why he got to go but he said it was cool so I didn't ask questions. His other prizes included a creepy looking furry weazel attached to a ball that moves around when you turn it on, a stuffed red bull that makes an annoying sound when it hits the ground, a "spy gear" ear light that already broke and some other thing that I couldn't even tell you what it was. The limo ride to lunch definitely won as the coolest prize!!
