Easter

Easter was fun. My parents and Tiffany and Matt came to our ward and I sang with the choir, "He is Risen." I love that song. After church we met over at my parents' house for lunch. The kids had an indoor egg hunt since outside it was cold and wet. My parents spoiled them with presents like they always do. I am a mean mom because I have never gotten my kids baskets for Easter or done the whole Easter bunny gig. I don't know why; I guess because I know that since the Easter bunny isn't what Easter is about anyway, I've just never knocked myself out to get baskets and fill them with candy that my kids don't need anyway. Like I said: MEAN MOM! But that's why we have grandparents right?!? Lunch was fun, Nathan was especially funny which is always nice. We all laughed so hard we couldn't breathe and our cheeks hurt. He even had my grandpa chuckling. It was a good day. I am glad for this special day in which to remember the Atonement and the Resurrection of our Savior, and to give thanks for the blessing of being children of God. Hope your Easter was happy!

This was at the girls pre-school egg hunt. Kennedy, Malorie and Ellie.

GREAT pictures! (as usual) I'm sad we didn't get to go Mesquite Ward while we were in Dallas to hear you sing :( We went to the singles ward to be with Grampy so that we could all be together on Easter. I hope you'll sing next time we're there :)

What a great day . . . such beautiful pictures (you are amazing with a camera!) I'm jealous. My kids don't have any cute shots of them . . . because they have a photography inept mother -- poor them. Poor me. (I'll have to get some tips from you sometime! :)
